Phases

There are three phases to the SwissPlan:

  1. Cleansing and Transition;
    This period lasts for three to six months and is a detox of sugars, preservatives and colorings from packaged foods. It allows the body to become a clean machine. There is a coached session once a month.
  2. Balancing and Support;
    This section of the swissplan is when your body becomes more efficient and your metabolic rate has been raised to what would be considered a normal healthy level. It consists of two sessions over a three month period.
  3. Stabilization;
    This is the final phase of the swissplan and since many of the health and digestive conditions of the past nine months are now changed, foods which have been eliminated or combinations that have been restrictive are returned to the food plan and the metabolism is stabilized. A few restrictions are retained in order to maintain the high energy level which is attained during the first nine months. There are one or two sessions in this phase.
After the plan is complete and you have reached your goals, it is recommended that you check in once every six months for an in-person or phone consultation.

Where Did the Swissplan Come From

The basics of the swissplan program are followed by a few very seasoned practitioners in Switzerland and have been proven successful over the past twenty-five years in diabetic hospitals as well as in private practice. Rae has tailored the regime, added many of the practices that have come through her own teachers and years of experience including the mind/body medicine from the Tibetan traditions. She has expanded the program to suit the North American psyche and physiology, making it more exact, adding guidelines, exercises, teas, breathwork, supplements (if needed) and a support system. These additions have made it more effective, faster and having a dramatic affect on brain chemistry, attitude, and longterm lifestyle patterns.

The program is designed to work over a period of three months to a year for most people. Those with health issues, on prescription drugs, or the needing to lose over 60 pounds (30 Kilos) may need to extend that timeline.

Support through personal appointment, telephone or email is highly suggested to get through the first stages of the plan and to complete the metabolic change successfully.
